KEEP CHILLIWACK SAFE
Public Safety
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home, neighbourhood, workplace and community. As Chilliwack grows, maintaining public safety requires continued attention to policing, crime prevention, community partnerships and practical solutions that respond to the challenges residents and businesses are experiencing.
Chris believes public safety is a shared responsibility and will continue supporting initiatives that help prevent crime, strengthen neighbourhoods and protect Chilliwack's quality of life. A thriving community starts with residents feeling confident and secure in the place they call home. Building tomorrow starts with safer streets and stronger communities.

PROTECTING THE LAND THAT FEEDS US
Farmland & Food Security
Agriculture isn't simply part of Chilliwack's economy, it is part of who we are. Our farmland supports local families, creates jobs, strengthens food security and has helped shape the community we know today. As Chilliwack grows, protecting productive agricultural land must remain a priority.
As a lifelong farmer, Chris understands firsthand the importance of protecting the Agricultural Land Reserve while supporting the families and businesses that keep our agricultural sector strong. Responsible growth means finding ways for our city to move forward without losing the land and agricultural heritage that make Chilliwack unique. Building tomorrow means protecting the land that feeds tomorrow.

CONNECTING OUR COMMUNITY
Active Transportation & Trails
A connected city gives residents more ways to safely move through and enjoy their community. Continued investment in trails, sidewalks, cycling routes and other active transportation creates healthier neighbourhoods while providing practical connections between where people live, work and play.
As Chilliwack grows, Chris wants to see these connections considered as an important part of how we plan our community. Thoughtful active transportation infrastructure can improve safety, encourage healthy lifestyles and make our parks, neighbourhoods and amenities more accessible. Building tomorrow means connecting our community.

GROWING RESPONSIBLY
Housing & Infrastructure
Chilliwack needs housing, but new homes cannot be considered in isolation. As new neighbourhoods and developments are built, the roads, utilities, parks, schools and community amenities residents rely on must be able to keep pace.
Chris supports thoughtful, well-planned development that considers the long-term impact of growth on the entire community. The goal isn't simply to build more, it's to build responsibly, ensuring Chilliwack remains livable, accessible and prepared for the future. Building tomorrow means planning for growth today.

BUILDING A HEALTHY COMMUNITY
Mental Health, Recovery & Community Wellness
Mental health, addiction and recovery are complex challenges that require both compassion and accountability. Chilliwack needs greater access to detox beds, treatment, recovery services and mental health supports so people have meaningful opportunities to get the help they need.
Chris supports stronger partnerships and practical solutions that connect people with treatment while also addressing the impact that addiction and street disorder can have on residents, businesses and neighbourhoods. Supporting recovery and maintaining safe, healthy public spaces must work hand in hand. Building tomorrow means helping people recover while strengthening our community.

KEEPING CHILLIWACK MOVING
Highway 1 Expansion
As Chilliwack continues to grow, our transportation infrastructure needs to grow with us. Highway 1 is a critical connection for residents, businesses, agriculture and our local economy. Continuing the expansion of the highway through Chilliwack is essential to improving safety and reducing congestion.
Chris will continue to advocate for the infrastructure investments our growing community needs. A stronger transportation network means less time sitting in traffic, better connections to neighbouring communities and greater opportunities for Chilliwack’s economy. Building tomorrow starts with keeping Chilliwack moving.

GROWING HEALTHCARE
Healthcare Advocacy
Chilliwack's population continues to grow, and our healthcare capacity needs to grow with it. Residents should be able to access quality care close to home, whether that means hospital services, a family physician, specialized care or long-term care.
Chris will continue advocating for the healthcare investments our community needs, including hospital expansion, attracting and retaining physicians and healthcare professionals, and increasing long-term care capacity. While healthcare extends beyond municipal government, Chilliwack needs strong local voices advocating for the services our residents depend on. Building tomorrow means building a healthier Chilliwack.

CREATING JOBS IN OUR COMMUNITY
Jobs, Investment & Economic Growth
A strong local economy gives people the opportunity to build their lives right here in Chilliwack. Attracting responsible investment and high-quality development can create good-paying jobs, bring new businesses and services to our community and strengthen our commercial and industrial sectors.
Chris supports growth that contributes positively to Chilliwack, development that creates opportunity while also considering infrastructure, design and the long-term needs of the community. By encouraging thoughtful investment, we can continue building a city where residents can live, work, shop and invest close to home. Building tomorrow means creating opportunities that benefit our entire community.
